The staff were lovely, but only there during the day. Another guest had accidentally switched off the gate one night, so I had to climb over a high fence to get in. Really nice facilities to relax in. Great location near the town, walking distance.

When my bank failed to honour my credit card payment by mobile payment, the management agreed to let me pay cash over a couple of days. That decision saved me from freaking out!!!

One of the best things about Ataongo residence is the location. In most places in Nuku'alofa you will need a car to go anywhere. But when you're staying here, you can easily start your day with a stroll to the Taufa'ahau Street (the main street) to one or two great little cafes before you start the day.

WHATS NOT TO LIKE ABOUT THIS PROPERTY??! The location was awesome, close to shops and walking distance to foreshore… The rooms were very spacious, the host Jordan and his family were amazing and very accommodating and contributed to making this place feel like HOME. I highly recommend booking here. I’m definitely booking here again in the future 😍

Loved the homely feel of the place, loved the hospitality shown by the host and his family, loved seeing Milo daily, loved the aircon rooms, loved the outdoor sitting area where I sat daily, loved the beautiful fairy lights around the place… there seriously wasn’t a thing that I didn’t love about this place

Lovely homely place to stay, the family is very kind and helpful. Also, best WiFi in town I reckon! Very good location just a couple mins walk from the main road with restaurants/ cafes.
