Hotel Overview

Situated near the vineyards of Nuits-Saint-Georges and only 20 minutes from Beaune and Dijon, this typical Burgundy hotel is housed in a 16th-century hunting lodge.
La Gentilhomière offers comfortable rooms and suites with personalised decor and modern amenities including free Wi-Fi internet access.
When the weather is fine you can enjoy access to the large outdoor swimming pool . There is also a beautiful 13-hectare park crossed by the River Meuzin.

“A beautiful building, comfortable accommodation but dinner in the restaurant is way overpriced.”

The standard room was comfortable, bed and bathroom warm and cosy. But surprising that you walk straight from the carpark into your bedroom - without even a doormat to clean your shoes. Breakfast was good too - copious quantities.

Nice green surroundings, close to charming village Nuits Saint Georges and Route des Grands Crus, spacious and comfortable Junior Suite, “functional” standard room, fast internet/Wifi, large pool with sunbeds, all ground floor, car charging facilities (2 Tesla Destination Chargers of 11 kW), friendly staff. We stayed 2 nights and did a bicycle tour (Solexeria, great), but it’s also a great stopover to southern France.

Have stayed here before and we really like the quality of the hotel rooms and the location is just great at 10 minutes from the motorway, major bonus we actually saw an otter on the river bank about 3 m behind our room!

Beautiful hotel in a lovely setting. The dinner was delicious along with some fine wines. Highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Excellent location (below the road which quietened at night) Huge beautiful gardens and river Sensational restaurant with several generous extra touches before during and after dinner. Would highly recommend for restaurant with rooms in this area. Friendly patient staff.

Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms are a bit dated and small, but beds were extremely comfortable. It was just an overnight stop over, but was great for our little westie.

Great location, lovely building and fab food (lots locally sourced). The staff were really helpful and friendly so don’t understand why some people have given some negative comments about the staff. Great pool set-up - lots of chairs, shade and free towels.
