Comfortable accommodation with shared amenities. Plenty of shared toilets available and good onsite onsen. Japanese style rooms were spacious with plenty of space for luggage. New split system heating units in each room. Good drying room for snow gear and plenty of space for storage. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and friendly great service from the staff. Masa-san at front of house always helpful. Best location in Nozawa Onsen opposite Nagasaka gondola and opposite pick up for skidoo. Though good 10 min hike uphill from the Main Street and bus stop! Get a transport service to deliver directly to Kawahiro. I did and overnight delivery from Narita!

Great location, super comfortable Tatami room, delicious Japanese breakfasts, good drying room, and the onsen was perfect

Very friendly hosts. Best location. Ski lift opposite to the stay. Great breakfast. Indoor bath is a natural onsen.

It was very traditional, the breakfast changed each morning and the staff were more than happy to help with anything. The staff also left hot water and tea out to take back to the rooms if required which was very convenient and made staying in at night very nice.
