We were sleeping on the rooftop in a tent. Samba gave us all the facilities to make it comfortable. He serves also delicious meals in reasonable prices. We have never met such a helpful host. He made our stay in the city very pleasant, helped with transportation and gave us some advices. Huge recommendation!

Cozy warm hospitality. And we like the idea of tents at the roof top. You have the view and fresh air too. Clean enough. For us it was perfect for Nouakchott.

Samba who owns the property is a very good and helpful person. He picked me up from the airport for a reasonable fee and dropped me to the bus station to continue my journey to Rosso. He also speaks English and is very knowledgeable about the area. My A/C room was clean and tidy and an electric kettle was provided to make my very important coffee. I had no complaints whatsoever and highly recommend this property.

The place itself is ok and there is nothing to complain about, but what makes it really special is Samba, the owner. He's such a nice and charismatic person and he made my stay very special.

Samba was a great host. Kindly offered to drive me to the only atm in Nouakchott that took Mastercard and helped my get my bus ticket to Tidjikja. Couldn’t have asked for more! Had a comfy night on the roof!

We were a group of four travelers from Germany and had a great time at Transit. Samba is an awesome host who helped us so much! The best part is the warm shower!

Samba, the owner, is the most helpful and kind person. From helping with getting SIM card and giving good directions for local transport in Nouakchott to bringing me and other guests to the market to buy a few things we needed. He speaks good French and English. The place is in a local area, with small stores, a bakery and a local restaurant within 2 blocks, but you can also order meals in house, home cooked. The shared bathroom is clean, there are rooms with or without A/C and budget sleeping under a mosquito net on the roof. There is a kettle to heat water for tea.

The host is amazing. he is very helpful and assists with absolutely anything you ask. Even the food is homemade if you request it for a very good price. the palce is well arranged for travellers.
