The fine print
Pay at property bookings - The card details you provide for a pay at property reservation act as a guarantee for your reservation. On High Demand dates the hotel may take a pre-authorization of the first nights room rate to authorize your booking, if the card details provided decline the hotel will be in contact to take new card details so please ensure the correct card is used.To enable guests to charge items to their room during their stay a £25 pre-authorization will be taken per adult in each room booked. This will be returned on departure if not used but can take up to 3-7 working days.

Large accessible room with adapted bathroom. Friendly staff. The lovely view of the pond wrapping round the outside with the geese & ducks. Kids loved the warm cookies on arrival

Breakfast was superb . Staff in the restaurant very polite , helpful and fun . Especially the manager . Reception staff really lovely . Beautiful hotel rooms had everything you needed. Housekeeping staff excellent .

The bed was very comfy. Room with connecting doors was excellent as a family. Breakfast was okay. The staff were also helpful.

The breakfast was varied. I was happy. I could have a made to order omelette. Everyone was friendly and helpful.. when I needed a few things, the receptionist got someone to bring it to my door which I really appreciated. The six resident geese were very charming! Hotel was clean, noise level was low, a bus stop with buses into town was right outside the hotel, so was very convenient. The restaurant and the bar at the hotel was open late at night,

Cheap. Comfotable. Clean. Mostly tradesmen staying as far as I could see. Didn't stay for breakfast as I only stopped over on the way home from a business meeting.
