Such a lovely stay. The hosts were amazing and super friendly. The location was so amazing with breathtaking views. The rooms were really nice and well equipped. Breakfast was amazing.

Loved the location - very peaceful and picturesque. The sound of flowing water is soul soothing. A perfect place for relaxation and rejuvenation. The hosts, Tanya and Shaun, are super welcoming, engaging and attentive. The breakfasts are so delicious with excellent presentation and a fun 'reveal' that adds to the experience. Highly recommend this amazing place!

During our stay at Hawklee Country House, situated along the tranquil Dargle Road in Nottingham Road, I had the pleasure of enjoying a charming and restorative experience. The property features picturesque views of the river and a welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal location for a peaceful retreat. I reserved the Owl double room chalet, which includes a comfortable king-sized bed as well as a sofa bed. The accommodation was well-appointed with considerate amenities, such as a spa tub, soundproofing for enhanced privacy, a private entrance, and a cozy sitting area. Additional conveniences, including a flat-screen television, minibar, and electric blankets, further contributed to our comfort, while kitchen appliances such as a microwave, toaster, and electric kettle provided a sense of home-like convenience. For outdoor relaxation, the room is complemented by a patio furnished with dining furniture and a barbecue setup, perfect for enjoying the scenic surroundings. My reservation encompassed two nights during the New Year festivities. I appreciated the flexibility of their check-in and check-out policies, as we overslept by one hour and were graciously accommodated with a 12 PM check-out by the owners. Hawklee Country House also offers complimentary Wi-Fi and private parking, enhancing the overall convenience of the stay. The tranquil setting of the location, coupled with its array of comforts, promises a delightful escape to commence the New Year. I eagerly anticipate the experience and the opportunity to unwind amidst such scenic and well-equipped surroundings.

Tanya is the best host, from the time I booked. We left early to run the marathon and when we came back our room was already cleaned and freshened up.Thank you Tanya you are the best. The room was beautiful.
