I personally enjoyed the property being slightly away from the busy city of Norwich. It's quiet and secluded, and it was perfect for us. Coming from busy London, it's lovely being tucked away from most things. It's around a 20-minute bus ride to get into the city. The staff were fantastic and I mean every single one of them. We met the owner, too, who was most gracious in showing us around and giving the history of the building. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs a quiet break

Definition of a no frills pub b and B. Staff very friendly. Very traditional in terms of the food offer, Perfect location for my visit and very easy to find.

Delicious, nicely cooked and presented food. Friendly, helpful staff. Plenty of parking space. Kettle, tea, coffee & milk in room. Warm & cosy bedroom. Open fires in restaurant. Pleasant ambience.

I loved it all the Way through. The surroundings and ambience from evening meal/dinner to Breakfast 😋👍👍👌the menu is extensive and caters for all. The bar area and fires add to comfort of being there. It's comfating place to be with for family and friends. So nice and inviting x

This is my 3rd visit here and I have now stayed in all 3 rooms. The rooms are lovely, warm and beds really comfortable with luxury bed linen. There is always plenty of hot water, towels and all bathrooms have mirrors with lights. Tea & coffee making equipment in the room too. As I travel for business I often need to work on an evening and wifi has always been good. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the food is excellent! I love that for breakfast I can have smoked haddock and poached eggs and on this last visit for evening meal I had the best lamb chops I've ever eaten! Since this is my favourite food ever and I am 55, this is saying a lot! The food is one of the key reasons that I keep returning here.
