Warm comfortable rooms, bed was reasonable comfortable. All staff were very helpful. Views across the River Wensum were magnificent. It was winter when I was there, a sharp ice laden feel in the air with the fringes of the water around the reeds being frozen. Heating in rooms was very good. Around 30 to 40 min walk into the city of Norwich, though the buses were reasonably frequent. The exterior of the hotel is of older style and does need repainting, updating. The internet decor I would say was older in style.repairs do need to be made to window frames and updating. Food was reasonably priced in the restaurant. Free parking. Good value for the price. On my visits I stay in hotels a lot, the menus do with replacing sand updating. Though to be honest for what it does is good.

Property was very easy to find, lovely views from the room. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Free parking at the hotel which makes life a little easier! Bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. Very good value for money.

Large room. Comfortable large king size bed. Good powerful shower. Lovely view from window overlooking garden and river. Excellent breakfast. Staff very friendly and welcoming
