The location was lovely and very quiet. Breakfast was nice, and there was plenty of coffee to hand. The host was very nice, polite, and made you feel welcomed.

The house and grounds are genuinely lovely, very quiet despite being so close to the A47 Norwich ring road. The welcome on arrival couldn’t have been warmer, we were made to feel like old friends rather than hotel guests. We stayed in the Oak room with looked out over lawns to the side of the property, it was spacious with ample space for storage etc. The bathroom is small, but functional with a shower. I’d describe it as a comfortable spacious room fitting a house of this age. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection of both continental and full English options cooked to order. Ample parking is available. We’ve already decided we’ll be returning.

Great location, close to Norwich. Friendly staff and made me feel very welcome. Excellent breakfast. Room was perfect, comfortable bed, very clean. Interesting older property, would recommend to anyone interested in history.

Cereals, fruit, yogurt etc. to begin, then a perfectly cooked breakfast, croissants, toast etc. and lovely fresh coffee served in the tastefully decorated and furnished dining room. We have stayed at Mangreen before and as always there is a calm feel about the place - like stepping back into a time when life was lived at a gentler pace - very relaxing!
