Hotel Overview

The Best Western Plus Oaklands Hotel is set in its own grounds on the outskirts of Norwich. Overlooking the beautiful Yare River Valley, Norwich Station and city centre are 5 minutes’ drive away.
This family run hotel combines a relaxed country house style with modern facilities including free Wi-Fi. The elegant and individually designed bedrooms at the Oaklands all have en suite bathrooms with hairdryers. Rooms also feature TVs, telephones and tea/coffee making facilities.
The hotel’s restaurant serves mouth-watering British cuisine and offers a carvery. The bar has a wide selection of drinks, a snack menu and an outdoor terrace for al fresco dining.
Carrow Road, the home of Norwich FC is a 5-minute drive away. Broadland Business Park is close by and free parking is available at the hotel.

Massive comfy king size bed and pillows ! Slept great! Breakfast was excellent and a good choice of different meals! Hotel is great have stayed there previously, bar well stocked and the evening meal was excellent!

The bed was so comfy - I wanted to take the pillows home. Bathroom was clean and well stocked - hot water tap a bit slow to come out but I just ran it for a few minutes. Best biscuit selection and plenty of tea and coffee. Room was on the third floor there was no lift which I was okay with but some may not be. They’re also having some refurb on the third floor so am excited to go back when it’s done.

Only stayed one night. We were in the annex. Clean and quiet. Staff at booking in very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Free parking. Very close to city centre, we caught a bus outside the hotel, took 10 mins. Would happily stay here again 😁
