Large establishment, with plenty of pleasant areas to relax in. It was clean and tidy, bed was very comfy. Staff were friendly and attentive, service was great. Didn’t get time to use any of the spa facilities but it looked lovely. Evening meal, relaxing in the bar and breakfast were great and good value with good portions. It was a lovely overnight stay

My mum had slight problems up the stairs and the owner kindly upgraded us to a free room on the lower ground floor. Very nice of him.

Breakfast was very good. As we stayed over the New Year holiday, it was a shame the main restaurant wasn’t open but the bar meal was very tasty.
