The hotel had ample parking and the staff were very nice. Check in and check out was swift and fast. I needed an invoice and got them as requested. The room was a decent size and was quiet. There were plug sockets either side of the bed as well so that was very useful.

When I booked the hotel I didn't have high expectations because the booking.com rating wasn't great. However I had a meeting the following morning just a mile away so it was excellent location for me. It was also very easy to get to off the M1. There was lots of parking, the reception staff were very friendly and although the room was basic it was very clean and had everything I needed. If I was going there for a meeting again I would have no hesitation staying there. The location was lovely and quiet and my stay was also pretty quiet.

- Nice quiet Location... - although the Staff receptionist, member did do a Rugby leap of faith, out of his chair at 02.30 am when the alarm unexpectantly went off.

Beautiful manor hotel just off a residential street. Looks small from the outside, but inside was a maze of rooms. Plenty of free parking in the grounds. Ground floor reception has kept its original beauty and the grounds were well maintained at the back. My room was comfortable, and clean, the en-suite bathroom had boiling hot water which is just what you need to have a nice shower at the end of a busy day. Toiletries were provided which is unusual for a 3* hotel so that was good although I had my own. Tea/coffee was replenished daily as were the bathroom toiletries. Breakfast was pleasant on my first morning. Buffet style and the usual fried eggs, sausages, bacon, hashbrowns, baked beans, mushrooms toast, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, tea/coffee, croissants. The reception staff were very friendly and had excellent customer service skills.
