Bed and Breakfast Overview

This is a self check in room only property. Check in details will be sent to every guest within 2 days of their arrival date. All rooms are serviced daily and a team member is available by telephone for any inquiries or emergencies.
On the East Lothian coast of North Berwick, The Folly Hotel situated opposite the West Links Golf Course. Dating back to the 1900s, this former fire station offers a bar for guests and golf club hire. Within 5 minutes’ walk of the town centre and a 45-minute drive from Edinburgh, it provides free Wi-Fi.
Each room a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee facilities. All have an en suite shower.
North Berwick has a variety of restaurants, including Italian, Indian, Scottish, Thai and Chinese, within a 10-minute walk.
This licensed hotel is a 12-minute walk from the Scottish Seabird Centre and 20 minutes from Glen Golf Club, with several other golf courses along this stretch of coast. The National Museum of Flight and the East Links Family Park are among the region’s other attractions within 15-25 minutes’ drive. Free parking is available opposite the property. The hotel provides a convenient stopover on the John Muir trail.

loved the closeness to the sea, access to the beach is very near and we had lovely beach walks, up to the seabird centre and the eastern beach, also: not far to the town centre, breakfast came in a basket, but was tasty and plenty for 3 people, loved the porridge and croissants, we liked that we could have breakfast at our convenience and did not have to be ready at a set time, the room was generally big enough for two people, but would probably be a bit crowded for three, the bathroom was o.k., clean and had everything we needed, nice shower, but my husband knocked his head a couple of times, as the sloping ceiling does not have much space for taller people

Great location near to the beach walk and shops. Character quirky hotel. Very clean and cosy. Ample tea, coffee and breakfast tray. Excellent value.

There was a good selection of items for a continental breakfast (although some of the yogurts were just out of date). The location was very good, easy walking distance for the beach and cafes.

Great place.. Close to town centre. Great hosts and lovely,friendly dog.. Stairs to room are narrow. Room was small,but adequate.. Good breakfast. Nothing to complain about.
