peaceful, clean, friendly and very helpful staff, well equipped, mosquito nets on the windows. comfortable bed and sofa. lots of birdlife around which i found very interesting. air con and heating. huge garden, easy parking (EV charger available) Farm shop on site selling pasta rice and some gift items (but not fruit and veg, although they mentioned a neighbour who did sell vegetables from his farm), and the bakers was 2 miles away in a nearby village , with also friendly staff

During our recent stay at an agriturismo in Italy, we had a generally satisfactory experience with both positive and negative aspects. While there were notable highlights, there were also significant drawbacks that affected our overall impression. On the positive side, the agriturismo featured a large and generally clean pool, which provided a pleasant area for relaxation. Although the loungers and sun umbrellas could have been cleaner, they were still functional. The room itself was charmingly decorated and well-equipped, offering everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was particularly well-stocked, and the Nespresso machine worked perfectly. We also appreciated the thoughtful touch of finding coffee and water already provided in the room. The proximity of the agriturismo to the beautiful and authentic Italian city of Mantua was a major advantage. With fewer foreign tourists, it offered an immersive experience of Italian culture. Moreover, the convenient location allowed for easy access to nearby attractions such as Verona, Lazise, and Sirmione, which was ideal for those planning day trips. However, one significant downside was the presence of numerous pests, which could be quite unpleasant and detracted from our enjoyment. Additionally, the requirement to park the car under a tree was particularly inconvenient. It resulted in constant dirt, bird droppings, insects, and plant debris on the vehicle, which was not a pleasant experience. Furthermore, it is important to note that the agriturismo is located in an industrial area. Without a car, there are no amenities or attractions within walking distance, limiting the overall convenience and options for exploration. In summary, our stay at this agriturismo was a mixed experience. The spacious and generally clean pool, charmingly decorated room with necessary amenities, and the proximity to beautiful Italian cities were notable positives.
