For the price we paid, we were not expecting much but tit was a great surprise. The hotel is like a small village oasis in the heart of Old Nizwa with a pool and garden in the middle.

Very nice hotel, well located in the center of Nizwa. with a private parking. Staff is adorable, the room and more generally the hotel, the garden, the pool are beautiful. Definitely recommend !

Prime location, we could walk down to the Nizwa fort and the main market. It’s a small site but gives you the village vibe with a great staff.

I highly recommend Al Dar Inn as a place to stay in Nizwa. It's just a few minutes away from Nizwa Fort, making it a convenient location for sightseeing. The ambiance of the hotel is lovely the rooms are designed like traditional Omani dwellings, which adds a lot of charm. The garden and pool area are perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Mohammed, the hotel manager. Reception We had trouble finding the hotel, but he went out of his way to locate us and personally guided us to the property. Overall, our 2-night stay at Al Dar Inn was a wonderful and memorable experience. I have nothing but great things to say!

Very traditional feeling with all the comforts of a modern hotel. Room was very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was alright. The place is in the old town and close to the Fort, making it easy to explore the area by foot.

Aldar Inn is at a perfect location directly behind the Fort Nizwa and in the middle of the old town. However, through this location you also need to expect narrow streets and the parking was quite full when we arrived. Our room was very nicely equipped with appealing decorations, earthy colors and in traditional Omani style and materials. The best thing about the hotel is the garden and the pool area, where you can chill and relax. However, there is no bar or restaurant, so better to go out for coffee and snacks, as many other options are available in walking distance.

I had an amazing stay at Al Dar inn! The place was exceptionally comfortable and spotlessly clean. The Omani staff were wonderful—friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I’d love to return in the future.
