Sweet, friendly, genuine family-run homestay. Our room was spacious, beds were comfortable. Bike hire was very cheap, but you're a short walk from the restaurants of Trang An.

Perfect place to stay in Ninh Binh, the family there was lovely and looked after us well, cooked us breakfast every morning and were polite and friendly. They invited us in to watch the football finals, fed us and gave us drink for free. Lovely family and a lovely place to stay would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Ninh Binh - location was brilliant too.

We had a great stay. The homestay was conveniently located just a short walk from the Trang An boat tour departure point. Included breakfast offers a variety of options, with homely flavors and drip coffee to start the day. Our room was green, spacious, and spotless, equipped with all the essentials—including a heating fan for those cooler nights. Hot water worked perfectly, and the entire house was so quiet at night—it truly felt like being part of a local family. The host was super friendly and gave us tips on where to eat and how to catch the coach back to Hanoi. We couldn’t recommend this place enough!

I will start with this information as I needed a little time to understand it myself. In the region most places are all rated over 9 and so it is difficult to decide. They have very similar standards. They are homestays and are simple. So grading 10 means for this place that is meant to be simple I found no faults ;). Also for the homestays where you actually see the family life, then it just feels nice. So the place is well located if you want to be inside the town. There are other beautiful places along the river though. Rooms are big and clean. Service is as if you are a family guest so very nice. They are clear and flexible. They help with additional services if needed (laundry, taxi, bicycle). We did not use the pool but it looks fine.

This is a wonderful place, with very helpful staff. The rooms were comfy & great value. The breakfast was very good. It’s a great location. They have lots of bicycles for hire.

Room was good, but the location and the amenities provided were excellent! Very close to Trang An, Tam Coc and Mua Cave. Restaurant was delicious and very reasonably priced.

Lovely place down a quiet alley about 10 minutes walk to restaurants and cafés although we ate at the onsite restaurant. We used the free bike to ride to the Trang An river/grotto trip, and the mua caves site which are both within a 10-minute ride Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it as a great place to stay.

We stayed two nights at the Trang an family homestay and had a great time. The owners were very nice and even prepared a breakfast for us when we had to leave very early to catch a bus to Cat Ba. We can highly recommend it!

It was a great experience! Beautiful Homestay, ideal location, incredible staff who were attentive and caring. They cooked us breakfast every morning, there was a lot of choice, let us have a late check in for no fee and we’re genuinely kind and caring. Highly recommend.
