We had the best stay at Halise Home and Retreat. The views were incredible, so glad we booked a room by the little lake! The location was great, a little bit outside of town, meaning it was quiet with gorgeous views. Free bicycle hire was great, only a short ride (1km) to Hang Múa, and easy to get to Tam Coc if you don’t want to eat at the hotel (although the food at the restaurant was great). We also rode to Trang An, the ride was flat and easy, with lots of places to stop for a beer on the way. Would definitely stay again!

The location is excellent, close to Tam Cok and main attractions. You can actually walk to Mua Cave and Tam Cok (around 15-20 min) or go by bike (5-10 min). The cabins are located around a pond surrounded by beautiful rocky formations. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is good, although it is repetitive every day. We loved the friendly dogs that live at the property. The cabins are spacious and comfortable.

Nestled around water at the base of some of the area’s famous landforms, Halise Home and Retreat was such a tranquil place. We loved that each room overlooked the water making you feel like you had the place to yourself. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. We loved that they offered breakfast and had a dinner room and lounge area onsite. The free bikes were also appreciated.

Beautiful peaceful spot under the mountains in Ninh Binh. Staff were so accommodating to any requests and the free use of bikes was fantastic! You can easily bike to a few of the main attractions - top tip, get to mua caves/lookout close to opening (real easy bike ride there) and you'll be basically the only ones there!
