Wonderful stay at Nikko Guesthouse Sumica. Very cosy and welcoming property with a small number of guests staying at any one time. Everything was clean and well maintained. Staff were all incredibly friendly with recommendations for the local area and for making me feel at home. Cosy common area for relaxing or playing games in the evening. Eimi was lovely and looked after us so well and taught some of the guests how to make origami. Would highly highly recommend this guesthouse for a stay while in Nikko!

Great staff, very friendly. It was also very comfortable and clean. Every room is probably insulated and warm, perfect for a winter stay.

The location is near railway and bus stop. The environment is good ,quiet. There are many restaurant nearby. The bay is near ,I can walk . The room is cleaned . The japanese bed is comfortable and warm. the share bathroom and toilets are clean.

Close to the station, amazing staff and a nice place to enjoy Nikko while traveling alone. The owner gave me very good advice on things to do while I was there.

Cozy guest house with very friendly and helpful hosts. It is simple but has everything you need and it is right in front of the Nikko station, very convenient for buses and trains.

The owner was very friendly, and made us feel at home, even giving us advice on what to see. We loved our room, it was very comfortable, and the temperature was just right. This was our favourite place to visit in Japan and the guest house is part of why it was so lovely!
