Resort Overview

The The Danai is a Family-run luxurious Hideaway perched on the bluffs of the Aegean and Member of the “The Leading Hotels of the World”.
Located in Sithonia, Halkidiki, the Resort occupies one of the finest sandy beaches in Greece and resides within thriving Mediterranean gardens: A majestic gate opens to verdant pine trees colonnading the 40.000 SQM aerial of blooming nature and to a pristine 315m private Beach equipped with private Beach Cabanas. Natural sunlight floods the 58 Suites and Villas, each individually designed by the Founder and regularly refurbished during the Winter Recess, or glitters from the Private Pools, the Main Pool and SPA- Indoor Pool.
Our Guests are free to indulge in our open-air Restaurants: “The Squirrel” Gourmet Cuisine, “Andromeda” Fine Dining and “Anithos” Modern Greek which are best paired with fine drops from our Mountain cellar which is the Home to the biggest Wine Collection in Greece.
For those able to part from our serviced Beach and Philosophy Bar should embark to hidden Bays, UNESCO World Heritage “Mount Athos” or nearby Islands on Board of our private Yacht “The Bird”.
We are a romantic Hideaway but also a Kids- friendly environment with an on-site Kids Club with Playground and spacious Family- Suites. Pets, who we also consider part of the Family, are welcome. we loved everything about Danai. The suite was perfect, clean, spacious, comfortable bed. The staff are amazing and very helpful. The grounds are kept immaculately.

Beautiful resort on the coast, the beach is clean, the staff is very friendly. Rooms and suites are large and comfortable, clean them several times during the day. Large selection of varied breakfast foods served in the garden. It has two great restaurants and a good beach bar. There are sunbeds and towels from the hotel on the beach.
