The house is even more stunning in person. Truly, this magnificent house was a joy to stay in. The decor, the location, the garden, everything exceeded our expectations.

We loved everything about this cottage. We wished we could stay longer to read some of the books in the bookshelf and to watch some of the films in the DVD collection.

The property is on a small plot with a lovely garden of shrubs and flowers in the front that gives privacy. The yard at the back also has a flower garden with ample space for a braai and relaxing under the huge trees. Overall, a very peacefull setting. The house is very big but has been renovated with double opening doors in most areas, also large double windows. This gives a very airy feeling with a lot of light. The kitchen is equipped with every item one could need.

It was a bit like time travel but in a very positive way. The house, the interior and the huge garden are very authentic. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Star gazing is amazing. Definitively the choice for our next stay.

Well equipped and luxurious cottage which is conveniently situated. Good choce of books to read as well as videos to watch if the Karoo nights do not provide enough entertainment.

The cottage is very well-stocked and beautifully decorated. We loved the fireplace. Each bed had an electric blanket and an oil heater to fend off the minus-degree weather. Pierre met us at the cottage and gave us a map and a rundown of everything to do and see in the area.
