I recently had the pleasure of staying at Costas Hostel Action 2 in the heart of Nicosia, Cyprus, and I can't recommend it enough! Originally, I booked for just one night but ended up extending my stay because it was such a perfect experience. The hostel is incredibly clean, with well-maintained bunk beds that come with fresh sheets, making for a very comfortable night's sleep. Despite being located in the capital, the cost is shockingly affordable—around 10 euros per night! This makes it ideal for backpackers and solo travelers who are looking for budget-friendly accommodation without sacrificing comfort. One of the highlights of my stay was the diverse and friendly crowd I met—fellow travelers from various backgrounds and cultures, which added a rich, social element to the experience. If you're into alternative and cost-effective travel, this is the place to be. While it’s a dormitory setup, and you do need to be mindful of shared spaces, the atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming.
