The hotel is indeed located among large impersonal houses. offering a sense of Nice from a time gone by. waiting for the senior administration I arrive at a room on the ground floor. The room has been preserved in its old design with large wooden mirrors and a small terrace from which you can even see the sea. even though Brigitte Bardot has walked with naked feet across the French movie screens. I was reprimanded for returning from the sea without shoes. The walls really are so thin when you clearly understand the daily schedule of a young family. It's nice to stay for a night or two. used if you just want to hang out by the seashore.

Very clean, large room. Enjoyed being able to step out onto the balcony which overlooked the promenade and the beach. Clean bathroom. Staff were kind and let us leave our bags until we could check in later in the day.

Nice is overgrown with high rise buildings. Once the home of a Russian Countess Villa Eden let us travel back to an earlier time. It's architecture is early 20th century bourgeois style. Property is set back from the street and beach, and in more or less original condition. No luxury but not miserable. Parking behind hotel was simple but good. Restaurants in walking distance.

Breakfast was good; with charming morning service in the little garden area. The gentleman on Reception was extremely helpful and provided an excellent service throughout our stay.

The location is great . The building itself and our room reminded me about castle . Definitely it gives you the feeling of previous century by the design.

Amazing sea view from the room and very beautiful interior in the hotel. Great price for what we got, would definitely recommend staying here. We even got an early check in which helped us tremendously.
