The location of the property is very good. Right in the middle of the main square of Nice. The property itself is located in a building right after you cross a small tunnel, which in dark might be a bit tricky as there is no light. Because it is located in a very popular area, it is very attractive to drunk people for their personal needs 😉, the smell is lovely. The space of the property is decent for 3 people. The host has a strange policy when it comes to cleaning, which i kind of understand, BUT it raises a huge cleaning/hygienic concern. You have to wash the used dishes yourself, or else you get fined 20€. Now, if guests wash the dishes just to avoid 20€, you can imagine the quality of washing. Hence, i would strongly recommend washing everything before using it. We found grease plates and dirty cutlery. This makes me wonder about the quality of cleaning for the entire property, which did not have a "clean" smell, especially the bedroom. The room was not dirty but didn't feel clean (if you know what I mean) There is another policy the host has, which is one medium body towel per guest, for the entire reservation. No face/hand towel whatsoever. Any reservation for more than 2 nights are very unpleasant when it comes to shower or anything related to drying your hands, face or body. And the response of the host was that "this is not a hotel". Very strange policy and response. I personally had an unpleasant experience when I entered the apartment because the fridge was off and the ice on the freezer compartment (which was very icey - again to the previous hyginc concern) was melted covering a good area of the kitchen with water and the fridge itself full of water. I had to clean the kitchen floor and the freezer myself. (I received no compensation whatsoever 😉) FYI: you get the keys and instructions on how to access the property virtually. No greeting from the host whatsoever. Overall experience was so - so.
