We had 3 nights at the Esplanade and took our dog Cooper. We were so surprised to find in the room when we arrived, a provided dog bed, nice dog bowl, and a little welcome pack with some treats, a little toy, and a couple of poo bags. The room was extremely spacious, a little hot at times, but a fan was provided. The food was excellent, one evening we had an evening meal at the hotel (we were bed-and-breakfast). We did try evening meals at other locations but the hotels was by far the best. Reception was spacious and relaxing, if you came as a family plenty for you to do in the hotel as well. Games room, cinema, lovely pool indoors, great attention to detail everywhere.

Location, atmosphere, staff friendliness all great. Right next to the beautiful beach. Very clean, nice products to use in the bathroom plus robes and complimentary slippers. Tea and coffee making facilities plus little shortbread bics in a jar - not plastic packaging. Plenty of clean towels.

Amazing location, fantastic staff, comfy bed and gorgeous views. The breakfast is a little overpriced and needs more local fish and meats to give it a 10 from us but still rates a 9. Claudia is a wonderful staff member who goes above and beyond for us every time we visit. She's an asset to the hotel. All staff are welcoming and helpful 😀 we absolutely love our times there .

Lovely clean spacious family room facing the garden with a balcony and seating area. Good room facilities and equipment, thoughtful touches like hot chocolate for the children and kids robes for the pool. Staff very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast, good range and plentiful. Cooked options very tasty and good quality ingredients. We ate in the restaurant one evening which was good but quite expensive. We ate locally the other evening and had a fantastic meal in the harbour. Lots of kids activities from swimming to the cinema. Soft play and games, activities like drawing and board games. The kids activities are alongside the adults areas so you don't feel shut away with the children and can sit in comfort and observe them. We did stay out of season and I expect these can get very busy in peak season. The only slight negative was our room was incredibly hot and hard to cool down unless you leave the outside door open all the time, this was march so I wonder what it's like in the summer. If you are looking for a relaxed family stay this is it - if you are child free it's probably not for you as there are kids everywhere. (There is an adults only bar for evenings).

The nicest hotel! The bedrooms were huge and had beautiful views, and the bed was so comfy! There was entertainment on every night and a great restaurant with a seating facility for games. The pool was slightly cold but the perfect size and there was a cinema and photo booth too! The best hotel ever!
