The room's were basic, but clean. Some of the interior halls ways needed a bit of TLC. The last in reception was very pleasant and helpful.

I had an early appointment at the passport office so location was important for me, a few minutes walk away the staff were very friendly. The hotel was generally quiet and the bed I had was extremely comfortable best nights sleep in months tbh Excellent value for money for an overnight stay.

Convenient, the room was surprisingly clean and bright. I was quite impressed considering the price. This goes to show that a decent room shouldn’t cost the earth.

Very easy booking, check in, and check out. Room was clean and tidy. It wasn't in perfect condition, there was wear and tear in places, but nothing to complain about. Fast and free WiFi if you ask for a code. Bed was comfortable There's a small shop on the corner, very useful if you forgot shampoo or toothpaste etc. A lot of takeaways on the street too if you're looking for easy food. Train station is across the river about a 20 minute walk away. There are long stay car parks over the river, but there is lots of residential parking next to the hotel, it was not hard to find a space.

The staff were very ameniable and unintrusive. The bed was very comfortable, clean, crisp bedding, and so very comfortable. The location was very handy, a 20-minute walk to Newport train station and town centre, lots of local shops near to accommodation.
