Fantastic stay,lovely setting, great views, so clean and tidy with very friendly helpful staff. Excellent selection for breakfast, very well set out everything was there .couldn't fault Briers country house at all. Well worth a stay if in that area.

LOcation is wonderfully peaceful and an ideal starting place for the mountains, SilentValley, foreast walks etc, while only 10 mins drive from the town of Newcastle.

Quiet area but close to town. Darren the owner was very helpful and very nice. Excellent facilities. Bed was very comfy had a great sleep. Great for dogs, massive gardens at the property.

The owner was very helpful, rooms clean and comfortable and location good. There were little touches like cartons of water in the room, access to ice and a coffee machine which added to the experience of a home from home.
