Hotel Overview

This Hotel Du Vin is situated in central Newcastle, with breathtaking views over the quayside and the River Tyne. It offers luxurious accommodation a few minutes’ walk from Manors Rail Station.
Each room has fine Egyptian cotton linen, a deep bath and a power shower. Guests can also enjoy a plasma TV, air conditioning and facilities for making tea and coffee.
The hotel was once home to the Tyne Tees Steam Shipping Company. It has been converted to offer a magnificent bistro restaurant, Laroche wine tasting.
A 5-minute walk will bring you to the city centre, with its cinema, shops and restaurants. The universities of Newcastle and Northumbria can be reached in just over 10 minutes’ walk.

The Breakfast inclusive rates include a Full-cooked breakfast and Dinner inclusive rates includes 2 courses from our seasonal menu. Supplements apply to certain items. Inclusions only apply for adults.
Children’s Breakfast is not included in the advertised rates and the charges are as follows directly to the hotel: 0-4 years old – Breakfast Complimentary/5- 11 years old – Breakfast charged at 50% full price/ 12 and over breakfast charged at full adult price. Kids Dinner Menu also available.
Please note extra beds and cots must be confirmed with the hotel prior to arrival, customers will be required to settle children's extra bed charges (£30 per night) directly with the hotel.
Starting 6th January 2025 our hotels will be cashless, please use cards or digital payments for transactions.

Excellent reception. Fantastic room. Value for money dinner due, probably, to the fact is was Restaurant Week which I wasn't aware of at the time of booking.

I like hotel du Vin hotels but my bathroom wasn’t as clean as you would expect - hair on the bathroom floor for example. Bed not very comfortable

We have stayed lots of times in the junior suite so the suite was a nice change , not sure I would pay what we did on a standard weekend but it was new year so expected to pay more

A beautiful hotel with lovely historical features and perfect location for exploring the Ouseburn. The bed was really comfy. We also loved the bath and shower and additional toiletries. The staff were very accommodating when I asked about an upgrade. Thank you!
