Warm welcome at reception & in the spa. Stayed here a few years ago & everything was as I remembered. Loved my room in the top floor & felt comfortable to eat alone in the bar.

This is a lovely hotel in a rural location. All the staff were really friendly, the food was good and the room was comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The breakfast was poor. We were not shown to a table and it would have been nice to have been served tea or coffee. As it was, were left to find our own way around the breakfast bar. The scrambled egg and bacon looked palatable but both were cold by the time we returned to the table not helped by a cold plate. The bacon was congealed and quite unpleasant. I would have expected much better . The atmosphere in the breakfast area could be improved by welcoming and friendly staff, tea and coffee served and hot plates. Why not have eggs cooked to order? It might liven the place up a bit.
