Overall a great and affordable place to stay during a visit to NYC. The only thing to complain about is that the windows are not insulated. There was a cold draft the entire night and as your head is right by the window so it can get really cold in the night. Unfortunately the heating dosen‘t really help there. Otherwise a great place to stay with very friendly staff and free water/tea/coffee 24/7.

Comfortable accommodations in the great Flatiron district. The coffee and water included was a nice touch that I really appreciated! Staff was very helpful, resolving minor issues quickly. Would definitely stay again.

The Flat was an adequate place to stay two nights in NYC as a solo traveller without breaking the budget. The location is its best feature. The bed was pretty uncomfortable and I could feel the springs in some places. The shared bathrooms were clean and I never had to wait when I needed one. Staff seemed pretty disinterested overall.

Very convenient location within Manhattan from which nearly all of the main sight seeing sites are within walking distance at a reasonably affordable price. Friendly and supportive staff, umbrellas available to borrow

The location was perfect, you can reach many sight seeing spots by foot. The comfort of the room was okay for the price of the hotel. The shared bathrooms were clean.
