The room was comfortable for one person with not a lot of luggage. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. The shower room was small but adequate. It’s what you would expect from a Pod Hotel. The location was close to Grand Central which is what I wanted. The staff were helpful and the communication from the hotel was excellent. I noticed that they also had free walking tours which is a nice plus for travellers.

The accommodation was perfect for me. Walking distance from main streets/attractions. The single room is a bit small if you have big luggage but otherwise I didn’t have any problem. Supermarkets/coffee shops near by. The staff was very nice and helpful. I could check in earlier as my room was ready when I arrived.

- Great location! Close to several metro stations, restaurants and shops. You can walk to areas like 5th Avenue / Times Square. - Complimentary coffee / tea (basic) in the morning - Helpful staff - You can borrow an adapter (for USB/UK/etc. chargers) for a $10 deposit. Handy if you don’t want to buy one! - Small but very comfortable room (solo room). Good value for money. - TV with lots of channels - Daily housekeeping (if asked) - Free luggage storage (if you want after check out at noon)

I have stayed at Pod 39 on previous trips and it remains the best place to stay in New York. The location, close to Grand Central, is perfect. The customer service was exceptional. On check-in there was an issue with the air conditioning and I was quickly moved to another room with views of the Empire State.

Very good location. I’ve stayed here several times before. Nice staff. The jitney bus to the Hamptons is a very close walk near the hotel.
