The area was calm, the staff was super kind, free water and tea, in the room there's a microwave and a fridge!

It was one of the cheapest place in the center of NOLA, and the place is in a beautiful historical mansion, which makes the experience great! The staff is generally really nice and helpful. The unlimited coffee/tea and snacks is also nice. The access to the swimming pool too, but it was too cold for us to use it.

Great hotel, very well located, with an outdoor pool and hot tub! We have a great time there. Very friendly staff and one can book a parking spot if needed. Would stay there again. Highly recommend.

Handy location to French Quarter, but far enough away so we couldn't hear it at night.

We stayed at the 1227 mansion. We had a late check-in and the instructions were straightforward. The mansion is beautiful - it has a lot of character with high ceilings and grand furniture. The rooms were large and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and the water pressure was great. The location is excellent. It's about a 20 minute walk into the French Quarter. There's coffee, fruit and cereal bars provided in the lobby and we spent some time in the evening sitting downstairs, enjoying the ambience. It was a lovely place to stay and I'd happily stay again!

We had a room on the ground floor, just a few steps away from the pool, that was very convenient. The whole area is quiet, we had no disturbances at night. The room was clean and cozy. We would stay here again!

The staff were lovely! the room was gorgeous and HUGE and exceptionally clean, plus the bed was super comfortable and the AC worked brilliantly which made for such a nice comfortable place to return to from the hot and humid streets of NOLA. Plus! It's located within a short walk from Bourbon Street and plenty of other great attractions and bars, which honestly made it the perfect place to stop during our holiday!

The rooms were very clean and I loved the old fashioned theme, parking on-site was convenient, it was close to the tourist attractions

I moved rooms after my first night to room 2C (reasons why below) and it was divine. It had a lovely bed, gorgeous balcony with seats and lovely wee bathroom. The pool was nice and the offer of snacks from reception was welcome (in place of offering a full breakfast). I stayed in the main house, but the other house over the road looked very beautiful indeed and potentially a bit more updated (but obviously does not have immediate access to the pool). Great location for walking to Bourbon St, St Louis cemetry etc... Staff were helpful (at the end) for helping me with a late check out.
