Really nice quiet location in a lovely leafy suburb, perfect as a base to explore Delhi away from the loud centre. Really nice big bed and lovely roof top terrace.

The property was neat and clean in a great locality. Places like Himayuns Tomb, Lotus temple and Qutab Minar are relatively short ride by taxi. The facilities are good and the staff very courteous and hospitable. Breakfast was included with a few items on the menu to cater to different preferences. Food is freshly prepared on site, was very delicious and felt like homemade food. The banana bread was delicious and so were the homemade jams. Overall, a very good property for a comfortable stay, good facilities and food.

Colonel's Retreat is a really nice place away from the busier parts of Delhi, but within easy car or metro reach of main sites. It is in a calm, unexpectedly quiet part of the city. The staff are really lovely. I am sorry to say I can't remember - and don't have a note of - the name of the manager, but he was great, very lovely and keen to ensure we had a good stay - which we did. The food was good. They kindly arranged a cab for us to the airport.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The rooftop terrace was a nice place to relax provided the construction noises from next door had stopped. Good breakfasts, especially the dosa, and lovely cake and biscuits for high tea. Big bonus: there is a metro station a 10-15 minute walk away. The surrounding streets are leafy, peaceful and hassle-free, a good respite from the craziness of Delhi.

Beautifully placed in the defence colony. Staff very friendly and gave advice when asked. All advice was very useful. Breakfast on the terrace was delightful.

A very good hotel in a safe area, with beautifully decorated rooms, excellent food and great service. Be sure to try their lunch and dinner—absolutely delicious! Just let them know in advance if you plan to dine there. It’s a gated neighborhood, if you arrive late the gate is closed, so you should inform them in advance about your late arrival.
