Excellent communication, Derek was amazing to deal with. We felt very welcome and the two rooms we booked suited our needs perfectly. All commented on the extremely comfortable beds. Great to have all Sky tv options when a sporting fixture needed to be followed. Walking distance to everything we needed to attend, next to a much needed laundromat, a range of takeaways, a gorgeous park to picnic in, and two supermarkets. Highly recommend this motel.

They were super helpful with everything we needed. Even held our extra bags as we were walking the Heaphy for 5 days. Great ammenties in the room. Makeup cloth for my friend. Biscuits, as well a plunger coffee set-up. Great decor as well. It's the little details that count.

The motel manager Julia was helpful and friendly, and even moved us to another larger room than the 'Compact' one we'd booked, so we'd have access to kitchenette facilities. Room 15 upstairs had a great view and Room 3 had a small table to sit at which was great. Good onsite parking and very close to Kaikoura township.
