We booked just for one night, as traveling, and for that the Hotel is fine. We booked a small room, but be aware it is tiny!! Truly. Nevertheless the rooms are spotless and have a fresh look. The Coffee House, Oso Negro, was just around the corner and can be recommended for breakfast!! Very busy in the mornings though 👍

We were treated to a warm welcome at The Cloudside with lots of ideas and suggestions about things to do. Room was beautifully decorated with sumptuous bed, comfortable sitting area and large well equipped bathroom. Great location in Nelson with shops, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. We loved our stay at The Cloudside.

Extremely charming and great neighbourhood next to good coffeeshops, restraurants and excellent ice cream etc. and still absolutely quiet. The owner and the staff are really helpful.

Very friendly proprietor who took the time to explain about the town an its eateries. We had a lovely clean room and a really comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend for people visiting the area.8

What a gem this hotel is! We loved the thoughtful details and cleanliness of our suite. The character of the building, the spaciousness of the suite, the decor, and colors, the bedding, the fully outifitted kitchen, the garden and decks....all of it had us very impressed. Plus the location can't be beat. We walked to the shops and had some memorable meals at the restaurants. The hot springs were a short drive away and we visited them twice in 2 days, as well as the provincial park at the lake. We had the opportunity to look at some of the other suites while they were empty between guests, and every one of them was lovely. I would stay in any one of them. Chris, his wife, and staff are so friendly and helpful and check in was super easy. We travel often for work and pleasure, and the Cloudside Hotel felt so cozy, my only regret was not staying for longer. Thanks Chris, we will be back!
