Great food in the restaurant. Pool is a bonus and rooms clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and very helpful. A great place to launch your holiday in Sri Lanka and to finish it.

Wonderful place to stay. Staff were all excellent and very friendly. Dinner in the restaurant was fabulous as well (we had the house curry/rice/poppadoms/salad). The pool was really refreshing after arriving from our flight - and the garden was really nice to relax in (and also backs on to the beach 🏝️ ) Recommended! The view from our bedroom balcony was 👌🏻

Super friendly staff who would help you out with a smile. Breakfast was great with juices, toast, jam, omelette, pancake, hot sauce tea or coffee. Pool was clean and warm and you can swim laps. The grounds are well kept and you have direct access to the beach. Rooms were spacious with a tea kettle and fridge and we had a balcony where you could sit and listen to the ocean.

This was one of our favourite hotels during our three weeks stay in Sri Lanka (we stayed in the beginning of our trip and rebooked it for our last days as well). First if all, the hotel is in a really peaceful location, right at the beach, the rooms are very clean, the pool area very inviting and relaxing, and food from the restaurant always delicious! But what makes this place truly wonderful is the owner and his staff - they are always so welcoming, friendly and exceptionally helpful! Hans even gave us a room for showering after checking out so we could use it before going to the airport. Also, we can really recommend Mohan as a driver if you want to see any parts of Sri Lanka! Thank you all for such a good time!! We will come back for sure :)

Pool is lovely and good to sit around. The beach does not invite swimming as it deposits a black "soot" every day. The hotel as mentioned is out the way but thats part of the appeal, nice and quiet. You are still only 5 minutes from any shops if required. The breakfast was excellent and food in the restaurant was also brilliant. Staff, as we are finding in all Sri Lanka were exceptional and arranged us onward travel to Sigiriya and Tuk Tuks whenever we needed.

We had a really nice time! The restaurant was great, staff really friendly and the owner was incredibly helpful with organising our trip. The location is lovely - beach access and away from the crowds! I definitely recommend this place!!!

This is a lovely little hotel if you don’t want to go out and do much. After backpacking around the country in hostels this quiet hotel was a well needed break. The pool was nice and all the staff very friendly!
