Village inn resort is situated close to browns beach. The hotel was really nice and the host was really helpful. Even offered to give me a lift on the day of the checkout

It reminded me of years gone by. The bed was very comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful. I was taking a night flight so was able to stay in the room until I had to leave in the evening for an extra 2000 rupees. Well worth it. They let me use the iron. Huge room with extra chairs a cupboard and a desk. The bathroom is very spacious and had hot water. But it is from years gone by. It all worked. The AC was very efficient. I stayed for one night only. So no worry. Good location.

The room was spacious and clean and the hosts were very helpful with helping me find out about the bus I needed to take. It’s good for a one night stop over after arriving in Sri Lanka.

Owner and staff are so kind and welcoming. Room had AC and fridge, which was so good to store food and water. The location was really central, 5 min walk to beach and lots of restaurants and bars nearby.

We booked here because we needed somewhere to rest after a days drive into Negombo before our flight out at midnight. It was ideal for how we used it - to store our bags for the afternoon/evening and a shower before heading to airport. Bar and restaurant directly across the road. For $13 it was cost effective.

The owner Kuman, is the best local guy I have ever met. He helped me so much, and made my stay so much better. I can not describe in words, how grateful I am to have met Kuman and stayed as his lovely place Village In, that is only a couple of mins walk to the beach and near all the shops!
