It's the perfect stay when you arrive SRI Lanka or you have toi leave. Then you should stay in the Icebear Guesthouse. Also the food is tasty and they have a beautiful garden where you can eat and relaxing.

we liked the beach setting and the unique garden and outdoor restaurant. staff are polite and helpful they have a little welcome blackboard in the entry part of the garden before the reception that has the names of the new guests arriving that day, we thought this was cute. the restaurant is a little expensive but we found both meals we had here to be very good. i would recommend to stay here as these boutique hotels cannot last forever and the beachfront value will be too much for the demolition big chain hotels to resist.

Great location, 20 mins from airport, Christie the manager arranged our airport pickup & very quick to communicate. A surprisingly peaceful leafy oasis between a busy road & the beach..The staff were friendly & kind, Food was good. Great for the start of our travels, will rebook to stay when we leave!

This is a great place with Awsome Stuff, very friendly, great communication, awsome garden with gate directly to the beach. this is guest house not hotel so obviously rooms are more like home made.Electricity is quite old but not a huge problem. Bathroom is old school but everything is working and no issues with hot water

The staff are exceptionally lovely, as is the garden. The Sri Lankan fish curry served at the restaurant was so delicious! It’s just a super place to stay and such good value.

“Another dawn, another day” as Robbie Williams once sang. And he sings it a lot of times at the icebear. Their Spotify wrapped will be very boring this year. But the rest of this place more then makes up for the playlist. The garden is the best place to recover from your 16 hour muti leg air travels. As always, everybody gets five stars

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We asked if we could have a safe and a plug adapter and both turned up within 2 minutes.
