Love the warm welcome from all the staff at The Swanee Grand after a long flight from the UK. We had upgraded our rooms, which were lovely and just like the photos. The staff were so helpful, helped us get a driver from a local company, for our planned 6 days tour of Sri Lanka. The grounds and small pool were just beautiful to relax in. We used a tuk tuk to get into the main area, restaurants, bars and shops, which were around 10-15 away. The hotel also did vet good food if you don’t want to go out. The grounds and setting are so lovely, a few newly married couples come to have their wedding photos taken there, which was an added bonus, seeing some traditional wedding outfits. Love every thing about this hotel.

Excellent stay for a couple of nights before setting off to the Highlands. Wonderful staff happy to help 24 hrs a day. There was no thing they couldn't do.

I had a single room for one night before flying home.. This was ideal for me. The hotel was spotlessly clean, with a lovely pool and grounds. Staff were all exceptionally helpful and friendly. Breakfast was huge.

Pretty and well kept gardens, big bathroom. Solid wood furniture. Friendly, helpful and patient staff. Tasty breakfast. I arrived very late at night due to flight time and they were very pleasant during check in.

Staff was very friendly and sweet with our son. Rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable. Has a nice swimming pool, short tuktuk ride to seaside. Close to a beautiful temple.

The property was just absolutely beautiful and everything worked well. Loved the spacious inner yard as well. The location, close to the airport, was so convenient as well.
