For one night it’s ok. if you need cheap place to crush after the long flight before starting Sri Lanka adventures you might be interested. You can find some local food quite close to the place. 3min by foot to the beach, though it was night when we went for a walk so can’t tell if beach itself is nice. There is a kitchen but I wouldn’t prepare any food there.

The owner was incredibly kind with me, he waited for me to arrive at 3am in the morning and the day I left we woke up at 5 for me to give me a ride to the bus station. The kind of attention and service you get hasn’t have a price. Thank you again for everything you did for me.

This was super nice stay. All spotlessly clean, very comfy beds, minute from the beach, close to the airport and restaurants. The owner Kavinda is kind, accomodating (and has a lovely puppy, which he recently saved...) 🙂🙏

Location is fantastic, 2 minutes walk to the beach and shops and walking distance to great restaurants and wine shops. The owner Kavinda is a great guy and very helpful. There is a shared kitchen and fridge with free drinking water and everything is kept very clean.

I think the highlight of this place is the owner that is super nice, not pushy, polite, not trying to sell you any tours or stuff, very hospitable. He waited for me late at night as I arrived before 1 am. He was very kind answering all my questions and giving advice. The room is comfy, everything is very clean, there is kitchen to cook or make tea. Water container was very useful so I could refill my bottle instead of buying dozen of plastic bottles. The location is near the beach and many restaurants as well as local bakery. I had a comfortable stay and nice start of my Sri Lanka journey. Negombo is good for a day after long flight as it's not far from the airport (tuktuk costs 3-4euro). However, wouldn't stay longer in this village.

I always stay here when visiting Negombo. It is a very good location, the accommodation is comfortable, and always very clean. Kavinda is an excellent host.
