Beautiful surroundings bringing a peaceful and calm atmosphere. Great location far enough from town but close enough to walk to, it was ideal.

We were extremely satisfied with our stay at the Ayur-Ayur hotel. The price-to-quality ratio was excellent, offering great value for the experience. I would particularly highlight the staff, who were exceptionally kind and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Overall, I can absolutely recommend this hotel and would like to extend my gratitude to the wonderful team for their outstanding service.

The buffet style breakfast was great, the staff were really nice and location handy and not too far if you are coming from the main airport. The best thing was Shamali's aryuvedic massage. Amazing and well received after a long flight! I highly recommend.

A great first stop in Sri Lanka. Lovely boutique hotel with a nice swimming pool and great breakfast. Quiet place, easy to walk to restaurants and shops down the road. Lovely staff and helpful with transport. Great tuk tuk driver who took us to main sites of interest, arranged by the hotel.. Very kind people. Appreciated airport taxi pick up late in the evening, safe driver who also drove us to our next stop. Also had a salon on site, all reasonable prices. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 5 nights and had a great time! The hotel manager Ruben and his team are exceptional, they make everything possible for you. We got picked up from the airport early in the morning, could directly change cash on the first day at the hotel, had an amazing dinner with lots of typical Sri Lanka dishes, got some nice massage treatments, got a driver organised for various trips and received a breakfast to go - even without asking for it - because of early departure. Also, the room was comfy and clean, with a great view to the little river, the towels and bed linen fresh and clean (which is not also the case in hotels here), good AC and hot a mosquito net provided. The location was great for us, just a few minutes to the beach (either walking 15min or talking a tuktuk 5min) and close to the airport. Negombo is a lovely place, not too touristy and a perfect start for exploring Sri Lanka.
