Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. The bus station was right across the road so we could walk from Cruz del Sur to the hotel in one minute. The pool was very pleasant when we needed to cool down after taking tours in the desert. safe storage was allowed for our baggage day after we stay the night.

They offered an excellent breakfast. Hotel Alegria's location is exceptional for those travelling through Peru Hop since it is on the same sidewalk and just a few meters away from Peru Hop's meeting point. They have a nice swimming pool, and the bedroom is large and has excellent bedrooms. They have good lighting in the room. The attendants were courteous.

The hotel was pretty, nice gardens and pool area. Tge reception staff were lovely, very friendly and helped us with our bags (there were no lifts and we were upstairs). Reasonable breakfast, good coffee. The location was good for us since it was right next door to the Peru Hop bus pickup. We were able to arrange late checkout for a reasonable price so we could stay in our room until the bus left at 6pm - really helpful since we were able to rest before our overnight bus to Arequipa. Helpful tour office next door where we arranged our flight over the Nazca lines.
