The staff were outstanding. The food (we dined in both days of the stay) was fantastic. Wonderful location opposite Naritasan Temple Park and right on the main pedestrian walkway. Loved the hot bath/onsen. Nothing I did not like.

Nice spacious tatami rooms. Option to dine in room or at the common area is good. Dinner was amazing. Must be pre-order. Onsen was small, a little too hot, but still was very soothing.

A wonderful experience! A quick train ride from the airport, a lovely walk from the station and such a warm welcome, traditional Japanese room and service, a truly fantastic meal. Lovely relaxing onsen spa. And right across the road from the beautiful and peaceful Naritasan park and shrine complex. Could not have asked for a better welcome to Japan.

The breakfast is wonderful the staff are so polite and good in english. The room is wide and its not crowded at all . The onsen is great and relax . It is my first time to try public bath with very good experience.

Lovely staff, immaculate rooms, and delicious food. This is my first time staying in a Ryokan, and I felt very welcomed by the staff! I felt like a guest in a 5 star hotel, that's how quality the service was. Immediately upon check in, the staff informed me they could keep my luggage after checkout in the morning, if I wanted to do some sightseeing. The Ryokan is next to an amazing temple, so this was a very kind gesture, as I had planned to explore the temple before flying home. The staff also immediately lent me an umbrella, as it was raining outside. The room was very large, with a warm thermos and tea awaiting me when I arrived. It was spotless and in the traditional Japanese style, looking exactly like the photos. The dinner which I had prepaid with the room, was delicious, and full of seasonal Japanese dishes and ingredients. It was the best meal I had on my trip. The public bath was clean and a perfect temperature, with a selection of creams and lotions to use once you had finished bathing. This was an amazing place to stay for my last night in Japan. If I ever fly out from Narita airport again, I will definitely look to stay here another night.

It's an excellent ryokan with all modern amenities, polite and responsive staff, excellent traditional Japanese style breakfast (unfortunately, I was late to book my dinner), perfect location in front of Narita shrine. Onsen that is open for 24 hours is a big bonus. Highly recommended.
