Have been to the Nikko Nara twice before. What I like best is the location….it’s next to the station. Price/Quality is also excellent and the staff is very friendly and accommodating to your needs. I love this place.

The location is great as its right next to JR Nara station. The welcome drink service and facilities are satisfying. The room was spacious. A cot was prepared. The Nespresso coffee in the room was nice.

The staff are very nice, welcoming and helpful as anywhere in Japan. It is located close to JR main line train station, so very convenient if you travel with a lot of luggage. Breakfast choice is reasonable - both Japanese and Western

The room is a typical hotel room, with en suite bath and toilet. We get a family room which is a bigger room with 2 extra beds (one real bed and one sofa bed). The shared Onsen is on the 6th floor and our room happens to be on that floor, but guests on other floors must use elevator to come to the Onsen. The hotel is in the middle of Nara, so tons of restaurant within walking distance and they are very good. The Nara park is 1.7km away with shopping district along the route. And if you are joining the Nara Marathon, there are free buses departing from JR station right under the hotel.

There was a lounge which was great, albeit for the number of guests it was a bit small. The breakfast was excellent, as was the room we had, (superior double,) and the public bath was also good.

Conveniently located just right outside Nara station. The staff are professional and friendly. Good wifi connection despite the spread-out floor plan.
