I had an amazing experience staying there. Yoko-san creates a very friendly and homelike atmosphere. I felt very comfortable and enjoyed not just sightseeing but also the time at the guest house. Everything is clean, the bed was wide and comfortable and I had multiple blankets I could use in case I was cold. One of the best places I have stayed at!

Please stay here! This stay is one of my favourite from my trip around Japan. Yoko, the guest house owner is so so friendly, she has a lovely, kind energy and she makes you feel at home. I went in January 2025 (winter) and stayed with two other friends in the Economy Triple Room with Shared Bathroom. I was amazed by how lovely the room was, the tatami floors and sliding doors had a wonderful traditional feel, and there was even a seperate connecting room with a kotatsu table! This is such a cosy authentic Japanese experience, I felt very lucky to stay here. After traveling around a lot, hotel after hotel, having the feeling of being at home is so important. The room was spacious enough for all of us and the futons were so comfy, I slept like a log. The guesthouse was very clean, both our rooms, the toilet and bathroom area was kept so neat and clean. There's even a communal area with a guitar and place to sit and drink tea. When we first arrived, we chatted with Yoko and she mades us tea and gave us snacks in this area, it was lovely. I definitely recommend this stay, the location was super convenient for walking to local tourist attractions. If I return to Nara, I would love to stay at this guesthouse again.

I loved staying there. It's a traditional house that is really close to the train station and to the main sights in Nara and at the same time is located in a quiet, residential area. I'm very sensitive to noise so this was perfect. Besides, Yoko, the owner, is such a wonderful host. She brings the guests together for tea so I was meeting new people every day. And she plays Japanese instruments beautifully!

Yoko is a super sweet host, who set down with us after arriving and we had a nice chat. Her english is really good too. The stay is perfect for exploring Nara by foot. Had a great time 😊
