The place was cozy and comfortable. Staff was really helpful and explained where everything is and how things worked in the kitchen. I would totally recommend this place to anyone who's visiting Nara, because it's really close to the parks and shops.

An exceptionally clean and well-kept guesthouse in a quiet street with some shops and restaurants, still within walking distance of the park, city centre and the railway stations. There is a shared common space with TV, microwave oven, refrigerator and free coffee and tea as well as various information brochures about Nara in several languages. The owner takes care of the house herself and is incredibly nice and helpful. I enjoyed my stay here a lot!

The place is really nice! All facilities are clean and mostly new. They provide you with sheets, towels and toothbrush :) My room had no bed but there was a nice tatami and very warm quill, I had no problem sleeping there. Also there is an AC in the room so you could set your own temperature to your comfort. Downstairs is a kitchen with large TV, kettle, coffee machine and microwave where you can have a breakfast if you like. It's about 10-12 minutes walking from train station and there is a beautiful small temple nearby.
