Great central location. 15 mins walk to Garibaldi station for Metro and trains. This is also where many tours and the airport bus pickup/drop off. 5 min walk to Porta Nolana station for trains to Pomeii, Sorrento etc. 30 mins walk to port for ferries to Capri. The area immediately around the apartment block may look a little scruffy to some people, but it feels safe and is only one block from a busy main street. Two supermarkets within two minutes’ walk. Apartment was spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean. Well equipped kitchen, air-con, hairdryer and good Wi-Fi. Balcony makes the apartment more open and airier. Security door and doorman at street level. Hosts were great, good communication, even though they don’t speak much English (and we don’t speak Italian). But they were friendly and helpful, keeping us informed via WhatsApp.
