Great location convenient for the centre of town but quiet and peaceful too! Really spacious accommodation with the 3 bed apartment we booked with a huge living area a real bonus!

The breakfast was really enjoyable. It only took us 5 minutes to walk down the road to the restaurant. Coffee was great too.

We liked that we were able to book 2x nights over Art Deco weekend, when many places insisted on 3 or 4 nights. The rooms are spacious & comfortable and it's lovely to wake up on Marine Parade with a view of the sea. However, like many hotels in Napier, it really does need a refresh. There is a spa bath in the living area /main bedroom with zero privacy. 1990's vibes. I do hope the Napier economy recovers and grand old motor lodge/spas, like this one, can spruce up the rooms. It would take very little to bring the decor up to 2025 standards. Having said all that, we had a fantastic weekend, a great sleep in the big bed and an easy walk into town in our finery. There's nothing like 'putting on the Ritz' in Napier!

Loved that the room was spacious and very clean. Spa was lovely to relax and watch a movie to. Had a car park right outside my door which was very convenient. The staff was amazing as I was very late to check in and she went over and beyond which was awesome service.
