I loved the owners. They seem like they really care for their guests wanting the best for them always on hand to help with any queries whilst not bothering you if none was needed. They are very friendly to talk & we’re always apologising for the renovation that was going on whilst we stayed which was not an issue anyway. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment so perfect if you want to cook your own meals. We didn’t realise straightaway but there is a lovely rooftop seating area to eat as well when the weather is good so use that. WiFi was very strong so no complaints there either. The rooms were comfy enough for 2 with plenty of room to unpack & place stuff. The tap in the room was an added bonus to help.

I was running late for check in because of a crash on the highway blocked the road, I called ahead and they told me ‘no problem’. When I got there, there was a nice note with my name on it and keys for my room, wifi password room number and a phone number to call if I needed anything else. This was excellent customer service, thank you to the team. It may not be a 5 star hotel, but it was very clean and comfortable. If you just need somewhere to sleep while passing through or between adventures it is great value for money. I didn’t use any of the other facilities because I arrived late and left early for a flight but there was lounge and kitchen too. I would stay here again if I was in Napier.

Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Very clean everywhere, many fridges and stoves in the kitchen. Nice showers, many toilets. It's being renovating, so painters around.

Everything, most of all the staff and Lady in charge are Awsome! Verry friendly and welcoming considering it was a last minute booking. Kathy was extremely polite and caring, went the extra mile for me. Thankyou🥰
