A beautiful guesthouse with the friendliest owner. Fantastic location and great value for money. The Japanese style room was very comfortable and clean and a cosy home after big days of exploring. Check in and Check out were very easy. Bog bonus: free rental biked you can use.

Our host was just amazing. He collected us and returned us to the ferry, he also helped us during the day as we didn’t have enough time to make the bus and were travelling with kids who were getting tired! Highly recommend staying here. Absolutely perfect for the art projects … all within walking distance of accomodation.

Great location, easy to get to, helpful owner, near many Art Houses and places to eat. Very clean . Comfortable tatami room. Excellent value for money. Free loan of bicycles. Across the road from the stunning Naoshima Hall. Takeo san spoke good English , gave us good instructions on how to get to his place and even gave us a lift to ferry on check out .

This is a nice, affordable guesthouse in the Honmura area of Naoshima. Right next to the art house projects and the ANDO museum. The owner is very kind and let me drop my bags off before my check-in time. He also helped me to make a dinner reservation. The room had everything I needed for a short stay.

I will recommend this property to anyone who would want to stay in Naoshima! The host is extremely friendly & helpful!! We loved our stay at his place!! He even came to pick us up and drop us back to the ferry station. He also has cycles that you can use for free to discover naoshima! We were also allowed to use the common kitchen! His place was exceptionally clean and very well maintained with all amenities!!

The view from the hostel is unbelievable. when I booked I didn't know they had dorms (maybe it wasn't avilable during the dates I wanted), but normally even when the dorms are not avilable during some dates, it is still very clear that there are dorms. might have been my confusion, I don't know. I was so happy with the room i booked that I didn't mind that after I arrived. The information that i was provided before - That I should drop my luggage at the coin lockers at the train station was SOOO helpful and made my climb to the hostel to be relaxed and comfortable. The staff was great and they gave me very good and detailed recommendations. It was an amazing experience to stay there. I would recommended to stay 2 nights minimum.
