Hotel Overview

Hotel De France is located in the centre of Nantes, a 2-minute walk from the Theatre Graslin, the Passage Pommeraye and Place Royale. The interior is designed in a contemporary style to complement the architecture of the 18th-century lobby.
The spacious rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and they are all serviced by a lift. Each room has a private bathroom complete with a walk-in shower, and some rooms offer a view of the square and theatre.
Additional facilities at the Hotel De France include a contemporary bar, decorated with zebra prints, and it is open every day. A new fitness centre will be available, and additional services include room service and free newspapers.

We had a lovely big room with a very comfy bed and the bathroom was also large. It overlooked the courtyard so even though the hotel is in the centre of town it was very quiet. All the members of staff we spoke to were very helpful and friendly. I would have given it a "9" if it wasn't for the cycle facilities - see 'what we didn't like'.

The room was so great, clean and big. A bed was comfortable, staff is nice and kind. Cocktails in a bar was delicious. Location is great.
